Ant is a North Wales based composer and sound designer. He graduated from Salford University majoring in composition in 2004 and has lectured in music performance and music technology in North Wales, Staffordshire and Edinburgh.

Embedded is a Sound and Music artist development programme. Funded by The Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, Embedded places a selection of artists from a range of disciplines into real-world artistic contexts with leading creative organisations. Aimed at talented artists at an early stage in their career, Embedded is a bespoke programme, providing practical hands-on experience and significant creative opportunities.

An AIR-programme grant from Nordic Culture Point has made it possible for EMS to invite Halldór to work on developing his latest Halldorophone for two months in spring 2013. 

Halldorophones are electro-acoustic string instruments. The sound of halldorophones is achieved with a controlled use of feedback on the strings.
