Hideki Umezawa (b,1986) is an artist living in Japan. He holds an MFA in Inter-Media Art from Tokyo University of the Arts. 

His works were awarded Prize Presque Rien 2015 / 1st prize (France), Contemporary Computer Music Concert 2015 / 1st prize (Japan), Luigi Russolo Award 2017 / Finalist, Banc d'essai 2015 & 2017 (Ina-GRM) and more. 

In 2018, two installation works are exhibited at "FUKAMI, une plongée dans l'esthétique japonaise" curated by Yuko Hasegawa (Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild, France) and "Unexpected Encounter" (Arts Maebashi, Japan). 

He is currently working on large electoro-acoustic composition with François Baschet’s sculpture that was restored last year in Japan, originally made for the Japan World Exposition in Osaka 1970".
