Matouš Hejl (*1989) is an author of mostly instrumental and electronic music. He has also been partaking in various theater, dance and other performances as well as multimedia projects.

Across his compositional practice, he is interested in algorithmic procedures and the aesthetic possibilities of speculative computation within a holistic musical context. 

He studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Academy of Performing Arts in Prague and at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm.
