The practice of Félix Gourd oscillates between light and sound installations, 3D animation, sculpture and video-scenography. Fascinated by the spatio-temporal dimensions, he conceives light as an element capable of transcending space and time. Light is, for him, a material that makes it possible to cut, move and transform the darkness.

The screen content he creates is experimental, sometimes humorous but always odd: a virtual parade of strange and distorted human kinds; abstract geometry that comes alive to suggest a pornography; a journey through lost worlds between the fantastic and the digital.

Coming from a musical background, he remains very close to the sound artists with whom he collaborates on different audio/visual projects.
