Ville Kabrell is a sound designer and composer based in Helsinki, Finland.

He is fascinated by sounds with a mystical or ethereal quality and is currently exploring this interest by working with modular sythesisers. His work is primarily situated within the field of contemporary dance and theatre however he has also collaborated with various artists in sculpture and video. His recently completed album Tokyo Sleepers Club, was created whilst studying computer based composition at Tokyo University of the Arts.  

Currently he is working on the music for an audio drama about nostalgia, by Finnish director playwright Henri Tuulasjärvi, alongside sounds for Choi Jeong Hwas plastic installation “Meren Elämät,” which will be one of the main events of this years Helsingin Juhlaviikot.
