Mark Pilkington is a composer of electroacosutic music. His music has been commissioned by the School of Computer Science the Univeristy of Manchester, Arts Council England, PRSF, SPNM, Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) and the National Youth Theatre.

He researches into the audio-visual within the language of electroacoustic music and works in the areas of screened works, acousmatic composition, installation and live performance.
