Palimpsest by Kathy Hinde and Daniel Skoglund, is a work in progress presented by WELD and EMS with support from Kulturrådet and Stiftelsen Framtidens Kultur.

Sound, video, moving objects, layers of sketching, birds, mappings, traces. A slowly developing series of actions leave traces within a gradually changing environment. Each movement causes a chain reaction and affects all other parameters. Balance is an important factor.

Kathy Hinde: interdisciplinary artist Kathy Hinde specialises in using video projections in innovative ways, frequently in a live context. She has made work for theatres, outdoor locations, galleries and music venues. She is also a musician / composer and part of the N.I.P. collective.

Daniel Skoglund: is a sound artist working with performance, composition and installation art. By designing and constructing machines he wants to create and present music in new ways. The machines are mechanical and electric, and they are controlled by choice and by chance.
