Yohei Yamakado (1987 Kobe), makes sound and visual works.
Graduated from les Beaux-Arts of Le Mans, after his studies about philosophy and cinéma, he cofounded RÉCIT, a music label based in Paris, in 2012.
Yohei Yamakado is also resident in Le Fresnoy - Studio national des arts contemporains (2017-2019). His last monochrome 16mm film La lyre à jamais illustra le taudis was screening in the studio’s exhibition Panorama 20.
He is now preparing a new feature film inspired by Bucolics of Virgil.
