Edvina Fahlqvist

Edvina Fahlqvist is a Swedish electroacoustic composer, field recordist, vocalist, and sound artist currently based in Spain. Her work explores the relationship between sound and memory, investigating how sonic traces can hold and distort lived experience. Using hyper-processed organic found sounds and field recordings, she creates immersive soundscapes that blur the line between the synthetic and human. Her work spans spatial audio installation, live performance and recorded releases.

After her first two releases Augury (2020) and Heart of Target (2022), Edvina has completed her first full length album A Thousand Windows which was recorded partly in EMS in 2025, and will be released later this year.

She returns to EMS to begin work on a new piece, developing material gathered during a recent residency at Mt Etna in Sicily.
