Vicente Yanez

Sound artist, composer, producer, mixing engineer and guitarist born in Santiago de Chile. Studied classical composition at Universidad de Chile’s conservatory. Worked as a producer for Chilean electro-indie artists like Xatarra Ensemble, and was awarded Best electronic album with the project I.O. in Pulsar Awards 2024. Composed more than twenty soundtracks for contemporary dance and played numerous shows in South-America and Europe. His field of interest revolves around processed signals, field recordings, electric guitars and computer processing. The most recent projects have been about spatial sound, Ambisonics and acoustics. For example, a piece for the Zeiss Grossplanetarium in Berlin that premiered on Dec 2024, or his recent piece for MONOM and 4DSound. Currently living in Berlin (GER), completing a masters in Sound Arts at Universität der Künste Berlin.
