Michael Lukaszuk

Michael Lukaszuk is an electroacoustic music composer and researcher currently based in Umeå, Sweden. His work focuses on acousmatic sound and the use algorithmic/generative procedures for fixed media and free improvisation. His work has been repeatedly presented at events such as the International Computer Music Conference, ISEA (the International Symposium on Electronic Art), and the New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival, and has received awards from organizations like  the Canadian Electroacoustic Community and SOCAN (The Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada). He currently works as a Postdoctoral Fellow in New Media Art at Umeå University.
