George Redpath

George Redpath is a multi-disciplinary artist and engineer from Northern Ireland. Currently He is researching instrument designs, interface , perception , virtual analog , physical models and neural net methodologies on the FPGA platform to create the instrument he has always wanted to play. He will be joining EMS to gather more data and analysis from the unique instruments there for his thesis in Music and Sound Computing at AAU and to focus on bringing in the next generation of modular synthesisers from an extreme music perspective to fruition.

His residency is kindly supported by Aalborg university.
