EMS User Agreement

Access to EMS

Our studios are open to Swedish and international professional composers and sound artists working in electroacoustic music and sound art. The studios are intendend for non-commercial activies only.

You will be asked to sign a User Agreement once you are accepted for residency at EMS.

EMS is part of Statens musikverk – The Swedish National Collections of Music, Theatre and Dance. We reserve the right to determine access to EMS and our studios. Access to the premises will be granted for a limited period.

Cooperation and Respect

The work environment at EMS depends on mutual respect and collaboration. This applies to interactions between users and staff as well as among users.

Breach of Agreement

If a user violates the rules stated in the User Agreement or its attachments, EMS reserves the right to, without prior notice:

• Limit the users access to EMS.
• Temporarily suspend the user.
• Terminate the EMS User Agreement.

Guidelines

• Inform EMS personnel in advance if you plan to bring a guest.
• You are responsible for ensuring your guest follows EMS rules.
• Do not share your key with other users.
• You must always book a studio or conference room if you plan to work outside regular hours.
• Food and drinks are not allowed in the studios.
• Alcohol is prohibited on EMS premises.
• Smoking is not permitted indoors.
