Malitzin Cortés

Malitzin Cortés (CNDSD) is a Mexican musician, architect, and researcher working at the intersection of live coding, algorithmic music, and immersive sound. Her practice explores the metaversal condition between the physical and the digital through creative programming, spatial audio, and speculative environments focused on sound ecologies, the architectural and spatial perception of sound. Her work has been presented at Ars Electronica, ZKM, MUTEK, Sonar+D, CTM, and ACC, among others. She is a recipient of the Lumen Prize Gold Award and the Latin American Prize for Virtual Reality Realmix, and is a lecturer and researcher at Universidad CENTRO and CMMAS.
