Scarlett Henderson

Scarlett Henderson is a British composer and sound designer. She has just finished an undergraduate degree in Music and is using this summer to expand her electroacoustic practice before embarking on a master’s course in composition.

She is the winner of the Max Brand Composition Award Special Prize 2025 for her piece CURFEW, a fully graphic score for open instrumentation and live electronics and has had her pieces performed at numerous festivals (MUSICA festival, Manchester; the Tage der Neuen Musik, Vienna; Lost in the Hills Festival, the Peak District). Currently she is working as the composer for a small video game company.

She will spend her time at EMS Stockholm recording new sounds for her master’s project and discovering new ways of making things go brrrr.
