Lai Tsung-Yun

LTY (Lai Tsung-Yun) is a Taiwanese sound and media artist working across modular synthesis, algorithmic composition, and real-time signal processing. His practice explores the relationship between sound, perception, and space, creating immersive sonic environments where noise, electronic signals, and acoustic gestures intersect.

He is the curator of Lacking Sound Festival, one of Taiwan’s longest-running platforms for experimental sound and sound art, and has played an important role in fostering international exchange and expanding the visibility of experimental sound culture in Taiwan. Through both performance and curatorial practice, Lai investigates how sound can shape sensory experience and map emotional and social terrains.
