Workshop System Individual Build Workshop

Build a complete Workshop System modular synth which you can bring home at the end of the session, with help from Tom Whitwell, designer of Music Thing Modular.

Music Thing Modular Workshop System is a complete modular synth. It is slightly smaller than a hardback book. It comes in a foam-lined hard case. It is a small but very deep analogue modular synth with a built-in programmable audio computer.

Sign up: Attendance capacity is limited by the amount of Workshop Systems available to borrow, so signing up will be required. (Link forthcoming…)
N.B. if you bring a Workshop System of your own you are free to attend without signing up in advance.

A one day introduction to modular synthesis in general and the Workshop System in particular, open for musicians and non-musicians alike.

No previous electronic music experience required to attend as the focus is on experimentation and collaboration through a series of hands-on exercises designed and led by Tom Whitwell.
