Application for Composers Residing in Sweden

Elektronmusikstudion provides studios to composers and sound artists who work at a professional level with artistic works in electroacoustic music and sound art. Users of the studios at EMS are expected to be able to work independently in the studio with some technical assistance from our studio technicians.

Professional composers residing in Sweden can apply to work in the EMS studios by completing the “Application for Composers Resident in Sweden” form. Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis. Admission is based on an overall assessment of the application.

Merits for your application include:

Membership in FST or a corresponding professional organization.
Knowledge equivalent to a university-level education in the arts.
Active involvement in the arts and related fields.
