Welcome to a masterclass of GRM Tools Atelier.

Matthias Puech presents GRM Tools Atelier, the new line of audio tools from INA GRM, continuing a development program initiated in 1990. Atelier is a complete real-time & multichannel sound processing and synthesis software environment, designed as a workbench for instrument creation, live performance and generative composition.

The masterclass will comprise a detailed presentation of the tool and its principles, with a focus on its advanced modulation system and multichannel features.

The masterclass is aimed at those of you who are users of EMS and want to explore how you can use the tool in your own composition work.

Matthias Puech is an electroacoustic composer, instrument designer and researcher. He is R&D lead at INA GRM and the creator of GRM Tools Atelier; he also co-designed the Tapographic Delay and Ensemble Oscillator at 4ms Company, and published over 8 full-length releases on international labels.

INA GRM is the leading French institution for the promotion, development and research about electroacoustic and experimental music, founded in 1958 by Pierre Schaeffer.
