Francisco Colasanto is a composer born in Argentina in 1971. He studied composition at Universidad Nacional de Quilmes (AR) and finished his PhD thesis at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, UNAM (ME) with Dr. Rodrigo Sigal Sefchovich as a tutor. Since 1996 he is a very active composer specialized in music technology. He lives in Mexico since 2006 where he is currently assistant director of the Mexican Centre for Music and Sonic Arts (CMMAS) located in the City of Morelia, and also a full time academic at the Escuela Nacional de Estudios Superiores Unidad León, ENES-UNAM.

He has composed music for several projects (dance, theatre, installations, movies, commercials) and is the author of the book: “Max/MSP: guía de programación para artistas” as well as a Max Certified Trainer.
