Shayan Assadi, german-iranian composer and sound-artist, born 1994 in Kassel, studied Computermusic at the Institute for Composition and Electroacoustics / University for Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW).
Based in Berlin, his work consists of a wide range of sound territories, coming from his versatile musical background. His focus lies on producing compositions for various sound carrying mediums under multiple aliases. Under his real name, he performes experimental music, live improvisation, multichannel compositions, solo- or collaborative projects.
During his stay at EMS his goal is to work on the Buchla system, get to know the West-Coast style of synthesis, resulting in recording sessions to build the foundation for an all Buchla concept album.
