Originating from California, and spending the majority of his adult life in the Seattle and Brooklyn USA, Darrin Wiener is a composer and musician living and working in Berlin, Germany.
He currently performs and records as Plastiq Phantom, World Gang, and Goldwiener. Wiener was a member of Modest Mouse for their most recent album contributing modular synthesizer, 303, production, engineering, and sound design.
For his residency at EMS, he will focus on the Vintage serge Modular system, uniting it with his 303, and recording new material for an upcoming Goldwiener release.
