Agathe Simon is a French artist, born in 1977. She lives and works in Paris. She is a Ph.D. holder from Sorbonne University and from Paris Conservatoire (CNSMDP). She is frequently invited abroad for creative residencies.

Since 2008, Simon has created a cycle comprising of fictional characters. Her scope is to explore and warp the borders often ambiguous and sometimes nonexistent between reality and imagination.
