Seth Rozanoff (USA) has always experimented with instruments and electronics, particularly with improvised drumset players and electric guitarists. His main focus is setting up live instrumental performers as source material for computer synthesis applying studio techniques. Future performances include collaborations with electric guitarist Olivier Jambois, a bass recorder and electronics piece for Monica Schmidt Andersen; which he will be working on at EMS, a harp and electronics piece for Iris van der Ende, and a work for Trio Nebula in Holland.
Seth has been involved with Newband (The Harry Partch Ensemble), and is a PhD candidate at The University of Glasgow in the School of Culture and Creative Arts supervised by Nick Fells. He has been the recipient of the Fulbright Scholarship to The Netherlands, a Santander Mobility Award to Brazil, and other grants from the Netherland-America Foundation.
